Appearance 5/5
Lowell’s packaging is easy to read, informative, and well branded. It has a sophisticated touch, and comes across as much higher-end product than it actually is - especially given its price point.

Aroma 5/5
Just like the name suggests, Orange Creamsicle has a citrusy, creamy aroma with a little hint of pineapple and tropical-ness to it.

Taste 5/5
The flavor of the joint matches the aroma perfectly. The flavor is incredible. It’s just like an Orange Creamsicle on a hot summer day. I was really feeling this smooth, creamy smoke.

Effect 5/5
The irony of this experience comes in the fact that I had originally purchased this strain because it was supposedly not going to be as strong as the Strawberry and Banana. Both of which had made me a little bit too sleepy. When I first started smoking this pre-roll, the effects weren’t too crazy, and I felt pretty good. Then, I felt that high takeover my body almost instantaneously. It was obviously a sturdy head and body high.

After smoking it, I found myself going about my business, as usual. Then, the next thing you know, I woke up the next morning. I had fallen asleep - completely clothed, on top of my bed, earrings and makeup on, gel all up in my hair - it was crazy.

This turned out to be quite the strong hybrid. I recommend this for heavy smokers only. I also recommend smoking this as a nighttime strain, because it will induce a very deep and heavy sleep in no time.

This joint had a beautiful aroma and yummy taste. It also had me passed out in an instant. And it’ll happen to you too, if you’re not careful! Personally, I’ll pass on this pre-roll, unless I’m having some trouble sleeping.

I bravely ventured over to BARC collective during the middle part of the day. I was stoked to find several metered parking spots available right by the dispensary.

This is one of the few places where the security check-in people are genuinely friendly and seem to enjoy their job. I was greeted by a security guy I had not previously met, and he had some rather funny jokes. I have a good sense of humor, and thought he was extremely nice and friendly. He also had a very particular style. He was decked-out in tons of accessories. Overall, he seemed like a cool guy.

When I walked into the dispensary, I noticed they had a few demo tables with brand ambassadors from different companies. It didn’t seem like the brand ambassadors were interested in talking to me, so I just walked straight through to the dispensary counter. There were two budtenders working, along with three customers. So, I had to wait a couple minutes before it was my turn in line.

In the meantime, I took the opportunity to take a look at what they had on their shelves. The only thing I don’t really like about this shop is that everything is behind the counter in shelves, and that makes it really hard to see what the product looks like. Everything is placed in bins and just labeled with the brand name.

Last time I was here, they did not have any Lowell’s Single pre-rolls, but I saw they were back in stock. When it was my turn in the queue, I walked up and asked to see what strains they had available. Normally, they have one of each type of strain. So, they will have Indicas, Sativas, and Hybrids.

Strawberry Banana and Orange Creamsicle were my two options, with the third being a Sativa that didn’t really strike my fancy. Since I had already smoked the Strawberry Banana (and loved it), I decided I was going to try something new. Which is why I decided to go with the Orange Creamsicle. There is just no going wrong with all these fruity strains, in my opinion.
