PMG House Joint – Banana -VS- Sungrown: First Class Canna – Blue Raz
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Light Club. We match two pre-rolled joints against each other in a head-to-head smokedown. Both will be lit. Only one will win.
This smokedown is a Battle of the B’s. And sorry beekeepers, we weren’t trying to tease you.
In this corner, we have the pride of PMG, the pre-roll that’s ready to roll, the House Joint that’s going to raise the roof — a premium pre-rolled House Joint from Pasadena’s own PMG!
In the other corner, is a pre-roll from a local laboratory near you. It’s the cannabis that always flies first class. Coming bathed in oil and dried with kief, it’s a pre-rolled joint from First Class Canna, and it’s the famous strain known as, Blue Raz!
All right, joints, I want a clean match strike and a good, even smoke – got it? Here we go!
When we unwrapped this joint, we felt like kids on Christmas. It’s a great looking pre-roll. It’s well-constructed and covered with golden kief. It was full, even, and had a great shape. What more could you ask for?
Not surprisingly, this joint kind of smelled like a banana. It had the aroma of banana Runtz. It had that artificial, sort of plastic banana odor that those classic candies were known for. We like the fruit, but aren’t huge fans of the candy. So our anticipation was starting to wane, to say the least.
We came looking for banana, and we got what we asked for. This thing had a sickly sweet banana taste that was too strong for us. It was also spicy from the kief, which made it overwhelming on our taste buds. It wasn’t un-smokeable, but it was a bit much at times. Too much of a good thing can be bad, after all.
Luckily for this joint, the high it provided was quite groovy. We really dug this joint. It gave us a really mellow high that chilled us out, and melted away our troubles. It is a perfect “after work” or Saturday afternoon joint.
We got really high, but didn’t feel sleepy or overwhelmed, at all. We did get a major case of the “munchies” – so keep that in mind.
This Banana Joint might have come on pretty strong, but it got the job done. It gave us a really mellow high that made us feel great, and inspired us want to munch on everything in our kitchen. There’s definitely worse ways to spend an afternoon.

This was a picture-perfect joint. It looked great, and was evenly-rolled, with dark green flower visible through the onion paper it was rolled in. There were also dark spots dotted around the surface, which we assumed were hash pockets, or little bits of oily flower that would pop with flavor. Or, at least, that’s what we were hoping for.
This joint delivered on its promise. It smelled like blue raspberry. Specifically, to us, it smelled like a blue raspberry Jolly Rancher. It was sweet, but definitely artificial.
While it might have had a delicious smell, the taste of this joint left a lot to be desired. It might have tasted like blue raspberry on the inhale, but it tasted like acrid smoke on the exhale. It wasn’t very enjoyable, and had us feeling like we were smoking dirt weed.
While the taste disappointed us, the sensation we got from smoking this plant did not. We got stoned, and felt very calm and centered.
We must confess the joint started to canoe immediately, and we were forced to put it out midway to help it recover. But that only made us realize just how stoned we were, and how amazingly strong this First Class Canna flower actually was. Huzzah!
We absolutely loved this First Class Canna pre-rolled joint. The Blue Raz was a great flavor, and it delivered a really strong high that soothed us, and made us feel like we were ready to tackle anything.

And the winner is…
…First Class Canna – Blue Raz
Both of these joints gave us a really chill feeling, but the First Class Canna pre-roll was able to mellow our moods, and energize our spirits. That was more than the PMG House Joint could do. So, in this case, the choice was pretty easy. Nicely done, Blue Raz.
