Strain: Lava Cake

After trying Faded Company products it is hard to resist becoming a fan for life. This brand has proved to be very consistent in all of their products. The quality of their herb is excellent and budtenders continue to rave about them. Every shop I have ever visited, I am constantly recommended strains from this producer. So, I’ve been working on trying all of the strains they release, and the list is long.
What a finely rolled joint. I love that the pre-roll comes in this little container that is great for those on the go, or if one is on the road. This is definitely a high-quality joint and very well prepared.
I was so blown away when I opened the joint container. Even though the pre-roll was already wrapped, there was just an avalanche of flavor I could inhale. From delicious cookie dough, cake batter, vanilla, to a bit of sleight of fruit flavor. The aroma on this flower is amazing and you should make sure one blazes it up in a place that won’t mind the smell.
Like a fresh-baked vanilla cake out of the oven, this is a slice of heaven. Very slight, but noticeably sweet taste. Seeing as this is a high-end flower, it does hit super smooth. The pre-roll was perfectly prepared. Delightful and enjoyable, this tasted amazing!!
Wow, this is some strong stuff. Been smoking for a long time, and it still hit me pretty hard. This is an indica dominant strain — but it feels more like a balanced hybrid. I loved the body high that took away any neck pain that I’ve had the last few weeks. I loved the balance of cerebral effects. They were creative, yet mellow and rejuvenating. Super perfect buzz. I also love that it did not make me drowsy at all, like many indicas might.
This is an excellent strain to medicate with for pain, anxiety, stress, insomnia. Excellent evening flower.
Once again, I have found another strain and fallen in love with it. Lava Cake is a must try for any level smoker.

It's hard to believe herb has only become legal in California in the last decade or so. I feel like it is hard to remember what it was like when we didn't have shops to go to. Quite honestly, it just seems like this privilege has been around forever, but I know that is not true.
I remember when I first started going to shops. It was sometime around 2010. The shops back in the day were not really fancy, but it didn't matter. It was just super dope to be able to "go somewhere” and buy herb "legally”, as long as you had your med card. But even then, it was sometimes a pain, the whole process was a pain. One had to renew their med card annually for another $50 or $75. Thankfully, that is no longer the case. ERBA is one great example of how the cannabis industry and the business here in California has evolved for the better.
I pull up to ERBA, with available parking in the front. It is a pretty cool perk to have parking just a few feet away. As I enter through the sliding doors, I present my ID at the front desk, maybe 10 seconds later, and I am in. This place is huge. It is super clean in here and has lots of staff.
This is definitely different from what was going on 10 or 12 years ago. Shops all over the city are now evolving and finding their own style for their shop. Thankfully, the days of dispensaries hiding are over. ERBA proudly displays its sign on top of the building. I love the sight of having cannabis shops in my neighborhood and part of the new era of economy in LA.
