Enhance Your Dinner With Some Spicy Thai THC Basil Chicken

- 2 Tablespoons Cannabis-Infused Vegetable Oil
- 2 Cups Hot Cooked Rice
- 1 Cup Fresh Basil Leaves (Thinly Sliced)
- 2 Tablespoons Thai Chilies (or Serrano Peppers) (Minced)
- 4 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1/4 Cup Shallots (Sliced)
- 1 Pound Chicken Thighs (Skinless, Boneless, Coarsely Chopped)
- 1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon White Sugar
- 2 Teaspoons Fish Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
- 1/3 Cup Chicken Broth

And, while there is a lot to like about this uniquely infused dish, I’d have to say that I enjoy the simple, easy-to-follow steps of the recipe the most. I was able to whip up a batch of professional-grade cannabis chicken with little-to-no experience, and I think anyone else will be able to do it, too – regardless of experience. I just wish every recipe was this simple!
Cost: Approx. ~ $15
- Start off by grabbing a mixing bowl. In it, you’ll need to whisk together your brown sugar, white sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chicken broth. Keep that going until all of those elements are intricately incorporated with one another.
- Then, grab a big skillet and place it over “High” heat. Then, drizzle in your cannabis-infused vegetable oil.
- Follow that up, by tossing in your chicken and stir fry. Keep it cooking in the skillet until it visibly loses its raw color. That, in my experience, only takes a couple minutes or so.
- Then, you can stir in your sliced chilies, garlic, and shallots. Keep cooking everything together until you can start to see some caramelized juices form in the bottom of the pan. Again, this shouldn’t take longer than 2-3 minutes.
- At this point, you can toss a tablespoon’s worth of your sauce mixture into the skillet. Stir and cook all of these ingredients together until the entire sauce starts to deliciously caramelize. That should only take 60 seconds or so.
- Now, pour in the rest of your sauce mixture. Stir and cook the contents until you notice that the sauce has fully deglazed from the bottom of the pan. When you see that, keep cooking the chicken for 1-2 more minutes, until the sauces start to fully glaze the chicken inside the pan. When that happens, remove the whole thing from the heat source.
- Lastly, you’ll want to stir in your basil, and keep stirring until the basil has significantly wilted. That doesn’t take longer than 30 seconds, in my experience. Once you accomplish that goal, you can start serving it up, alongside some scrumptious rice, and dig in!
