Alien Breath (Indica)
Strain: Alien Breath
Producer: Happy Nugs
Contributor: Tabitha Pace
This is some great looking bud. It’s got a rich color due to all the orange wisps extending throughout the body. Upon further inspection, there’s a geode-like clustering of crystals nestled in the leaves.
Besides its great look, this plant has a killer aroma -- strong, spicy, and sweet. It’s a full scent that reminds us of a floral bouquet.
We got a strong taste off our first hit, along with a very strong high that came on rather quickly. Like a centurion on the battlefield, this Indica attacked us head-on and took no mercy on us.
We sank into our seat and felt the daze. This high was taking over, but we were able to focus and concentrate when necessary. This strain might be an excellent choice for anyone dealing with anxiety or overthinking, because you definitely tune your brain out when you smoke this one. Even though this is a true blue Indica strain, we must report that we’ve felt a mild body buzz with Alien Breath. It was a heightened awareness felt by all of our limbs and joints.

Most Angelenos will tell you that commuting in this city is no laughing matter. If you find yourself traveling on Glendale Blvd in Echo Park during rush hour, you’ll probably be in a gridlock that may just drive you crazy. Which is why you should just pull that car over, take a few deep breaths, and head into this great new dispensary that just opened up called, the Happy Nugs Collective.
The shop is located on the corner of Glendale and Scott Ave, with parking easily found on the side street that rises up a steep incline that is common for this part of town. The building itself is covered with grass. We ran our hand over the lush green facade, as we headed inside.
The waiting room felt cobbled together with mismanaged chairs and handwritten signs informing you that there was ‘NO ATM’ to be found on the premises. Most dispensary waiting rooms are nothing more than a bunch of white chairs inside an equally white room. It’s not a lot, but a little coordination of color helps make a place feel like there was at least some effort put into it. For a building with such a nice exterior, we thought the waiting room left a little to be desired. Thankfully, all that changed once we entered the showroom.
